A Tomten Workshop: A Crofter’s Guild Scandinavian inspired holiday experience
Join the WildWise Crofter’s Guild for cozy crafting, cooking traditional Jul pudding and lefse, learning traditional Norwegian folk dances, gathering around the campfire and sipping cocoa, as well as outdoor play, games, and archery! We will read folklore stories of the Tomten, make friends, and enjoy the wonder of the season!
Crafts include making your very own Tomte (a gnome of folklore), Jul tree ornaments, needle felting, embroidery, and more!
Sign up for one, two, or all three days. Each day will hold different crafts, stories, and dishes.
God Jul!
Teen Apprentices: Will get to do all the crafts and cooking, meet other crofty teens, as well as assist with little hands or read a story when needed. Ages 14-18, unless already a WildWise apprentice then 12+
