NatureQuest: WilderKin

For Young Wildlings Ages 6-8

Wilderkin is NatureQuest for our youngest adventurers—an enchanted introduction to forest life, community building, and nature-based learning. Through games, songs, stories, and hands-on exploration, children build trust in themselves, in the group, and in the world around them.

Young Wilderkin begin to explore the WildWise Guilds through playful, age-appropriate introductions—earning tokens as they try new skills and celebrate small victories.

In Wilderkin, every feather is a gift, every puddle a potion, and every path a new possibility.

With a playful and nurturing approach, Wilderkin supports:

  • Nature Kinship – Children explore the forest with curiosity and joy—building fairy houses, spotting animal signs, and making friends with trees, stones, and streams.
  • Circle Culture – Singing, storytelling, and collaborative play help young ones learn cooperation, empathy, and how to be part of a kind-hearted community.
  • Self Discovery – Through gentle guidance and choice-based activities, children learn to name their feelings, build resilience, and begin to explore their unique interests.
  • Sacred Wonder – Seasonal stories, and nature-based magic awaken a sense of reverence and enchantment for the living world.

Is NatureQuest:WilderKin Right for Your Child?

This gentle, wonder-filled program welcomes young children into the rhythms of the wild. Wilderkin are ready when they can:

  • 🌱 Be away from their primary caregiver for the full program day with support
  • 🐾 Stay with a group on trails and in outdoor spaces (with reminders)
  • 🎒 Carry their own backpack and manage basic self-care needs (bathroom, dressing, etc.)
  • 🧚 Engage in nature play, storytelling, and sensory exploration with peers
  • 💬 Express needs and feelings to adults using words or gestures
  • 🧘 Participate in group songs, games, and simple rituals—even with wiggles or big feelings
  • 🌦️ Be comfortable (with gentle support) in a variety of outdoor conditions
  • 🧭 Follow simple instructions and basic safety guidelines with support
  • 🤝 Show kindness to others and respond respectfully to adult guidance

Wilderkin must be able to participate without aggressive or bullying behavior and must treat mentors and peers with care and respect.

2026 - 27 School Year

NatureQuest:WilderKin meets weekly from Fall to Spring, with seasonal breaks. Choose 1–5 days per week from Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

TUITION ESTIMATES

  • 1-day/week – 30 days total
    • $150 deposit – 10 Monthly Payments of $157.50 Starting September 10
  • 2 days/week – 60 days total
    • $300 deposit – 10 Monthly Payments of $315 Starting September 10
  • 3 days/week – 90 days total
    • $450 deposit – 10 Monthly Payments of $472.50 Starting September 10
  • 4 days/week -120 days total
    • $600 deposit – 10 Monthly Payments of $630 Starting September 10

Extended days will change pricing, costs listed above are estimates. Upon registration, our enrollment system will give accurate tuition and deposit amounts
